I have a 92 lt250 and a 87 lt500 motor. Back in `88 I seen a guy that did this swap. I never asked what he did for a pipe. Is there a company that makes one? Is there a pipe that only needs some cutting? I can make a pipe fit. I`m just wondering if anyone has found a pipe that is fairly easy to get in there. I dont want one of those race pipes that hang off. Please no smart a$$ coments. Only reply if you know what pipe would work. Thanks

Check with CT Racing. They used to field a team in the early nineties in the open class that all ran 500 engines in 250 frames. Who knows,..they may still have a pipe lieing around or maybe a jig to build one.

If you decide to get rid of the 500, let me know and for how much. Oh and maybe FTZ will make one for you.

CT makes a pipe. He even has one in stock!. LRD sells a 500 pipe not welded that I could fit also. Ct $370, LRD $300 Seeing as the CT bolts in I am going with it. Thanks again
