there is 1 that limits the carb slide, remove the carb slide then remove the brass ring inside.
they say there is one where the pipe connects to the cylinder, remove the pipe and pry that out,,should get ya going a lil better

what about the spark arrester?
what type does it have?
is there an easy way to remove it.... or at least just service it?

In 9 years of LT-80's I've not heard of any servicable spark arrestor. I figured the baffles in the pipe performed the spark arrest duties.

thanks for the info guys.... need to add some inexpensive OOOMPH to my sons LT-80

now... if I do exhaust mods like removing these restrictions... I should probably up-size the main jet, huh?

I guess that i would recommend a plug check ,like any mod.The stock jet is enormous. On my ported cylinders I run a 77.5/37.5 and I would go to using premix gas/oil.Every now and again the oil injection pump quits I tried your web addy thats in your profile. It didn't work.I have thoughts on your LT-80,email me plz

On topic
When doing pre mix do you need a block off plate for the LT80 or just disconect? Where do we get the plates if needed? Thanks LT80

PS. Is it really worth putting an aftermarket pipe on an LT80 if you are not racing but just want moderate gains?
