I have an opportunity to buy a new (last years) 2001 Eiger. Please tell me about them, since there is little information out there.

What is the difference between last year's and 2002?

Thanks!

That would be none. The Eiger first went on sale in the fall of 2001 as a 2002 model.

well, what is a good price for one? I was told by someone that I could get it new for 4200 OTD. He also said that it had independant front and rear suspension..

I'm currently considering the Arctic Cat 375 4x4 and I can get that one for 4887 OTD

What do you think?

4200 OTD, for a 4x4

What do you know about them, I cant' really find too much? The Suzuki web site leave a lot to be desired as far as information and content... I think they need a new marketing dept...

MSRP for a 4x4 5-speed is $5299. Suzuki had a dealer rebate deal that chopped $300 off of that - it was supposed to end in December but evidently the rebate is still in effect for a few more weeks. I've heard OTD prices ranging from mid-high 4K's to low 5K's. If you could get a new 4x4 for 4,200 OTD I'd jump on it.
