The new Z400 quad will have the 400s model compression of 11.3:1 and the S model Mikuni BSR36.The dirt versions are the 400ey and 400 kicker, they come with 12.2:1 compression and a Keihin fcr39.Both models have been out 2 yrs and have LOTS of aftermarket hop-ups and big bore kits. The drz engine so far has been bullet proof for the most part, but like all models it has it's weaknesses&strengths. If you e-mail me I can give you a link to a drz(dirtbike) forum that can give guys some tips on jetting,oil,hop-ups,and other things that guys have learned in the last couple of years, then you guys can bring it back hear and help your fellow Z400 owners out.

dude, you should get one of those new "power wheels" Quads. Electric engines are the future baby! No more fuel to mix, no more oil to check... Dang, I shoulda put that engine in my LT!

Oh well, hindsight 20/20... next time...
