Premature on the Vinson Jet kit

I guess I got a little too excited. Here's an e-mail from DynoJet.

We have not yet completed the research and development stages for the Vinson. We plan on having a kit in the future. I do not have an official release date as the R&D process is unpredictable. I would keep an eye on the website. Thanks for your interest.

If a good airfilter is available for the vinson. Why not just get the airfilter and two mainjets that are the next size up from whats stock, and save yourself some cash.

The air filter and main jet size are only part of the equation. The needle that DynoJet supplies is usually more tapered than stock and (IMHO) gives most of the power increase.

I don't even think K&N has an aftermarket filter yet. Guess I'll be patient.

why not just shim your stock needle?

I thought about it. I don't trust that I'd do it right. I don't have a dyno to test it either.
