LT500 carb on LT250R

just wondering what you guys that have done this swap or upgrade used for a boot from the carb to the air box? It had a unifilter on the carb but now i am useing the stock air box so I can trail ride it without worrying about a little bit of water or mud. second what jetting and so forth did you guys go with to start off with this 38 mm carb on the 250? thanks
