I just picked up my new Vinson today. I've only gotten 10 miles on it. I did a lot of research before deciding on this model. (Thank you everyone for answering my earlier questions).

I knew people were experiencing problems with their shifters and I had heard of some brake squealing.

I have a quick question for those of you who have the brake squealing. My shifter is a little rough, but if I give it a bit of throttle I can get it into the correct gear with little resistance.

However, the brakes are very annoying, they squeal constantly. Does anyone have any recommendations or has anyone noticed the brake squeal disappearing after a while?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Cokerg

The squealing brakes usually goes away after time but if it doesn't your suzuki dealer has an updated set that will stop the squeaking for good.

Try spraying a little WD40 on the rotor, it always works...

I got mine about two weeks ago and have 15 miles on it now. I had the brake problem as well, but the dealer took the pads off and did some grinding. They seems to be fine now. My shifter is stubborn too, but I can live with it.
