Here is a thought. Since I know some quads are based on older models (ex. 400EX frame, suspension, etc. on TRX250R) I wonder if any of the Z400 parts or aftermarket items will fit on a 250 Quadracer. If anything it probably wont be much but it still may be interesting to see, if anything, that they copied.

Rude remarks about the chain adjustmet not necessary. I KNOW IT SUCKS!!!

SWINGARM Hehe! Actually, I have no idea. I kind of doubt that there will be much if any parts interchangeability simply because Suzuki failed to do that with the Quadrunner line in the 80's. The 125, 185, 230 and 250 all used different frames and different parts. The head lights weren't even interchangeable between the 125 and the 185. This was a big mistake as far as dealers were concerned. My father-in-law was a Suzuki dealer in te early to mid 80's and it meant that he had to stock a lot more parts for all the machines. Not a good way to go.

I imagine that the majority of the Z400 parts will be brand new since trhe Quadracer was last in production 10 years ago.

I doubt that anything except nuts and bolts will be interchangeable, but we can always hope so. Just because the Quadracers have been gone for 10 years doesn't mean that parts won't be interchangeable. The 250R was gone for 10 years before the 400EX came along, and look at how many of those parts are interchangeable.
