I purchased a warn 2000. I've ordered the mounting plate, it should be in in a few days. I've read some problems installing this unit onto the Vinson. Appears that it needs a "diode". Has anybody installed this onto a vinson, if so any tips/info would be appreciated.

About this diode, Where can I pick one up at? Also, any advise on where to install the solenoid?
