Maybe your zilla is due for a rebuild.

You should be bustin' his a@@ on takeoff. I don't know about the T-5s on topend, though. If you're not having to hold on with both hands then something is wrong. Do a leakdown test. I had some bad crank seals and bearings a while back and this made my Zilla slow. I've got the Gold Series pipe and like it. Noone has ever beaten me even with the bad seals /bearings, so have it checked out.

If the banshee is beating you, something is deff. wrong unless he has put lots and lots of money into his, and your stock. (ex. the pipe)

My stock Zilla absolutely killed a stock (I think!!) Banshee up comp hill at Glam, and a mild-moderate modded shee hung wheel to wheel, with my zilla pulling maybe a tire length on him by the top of the hill depending on my/his start.

Is the elevation a lot different from where you live to where the bike came from?
How much compression do you have?

Never thought I'd hear the words slow and zilla in the same sentence!
