I want some input on this bike from an Ozark owner. Now I'm going to be doing trails must of the time. What is its top speed? I'll be riding with mostly sport bikes (blasters mostly), will it be able to keep up with them? I know I should get a sport bike if I wan't to jump but how is it jumping? The biggest jumps I'll probaly jump with it will be pretty small (3-6 ft). Now before you think "why don't you just get a sport quad" I want to be able to go through mud, rock climb, and go over fallen trees without getting stuck. That bring me to my final question...how does it prefrom doing these things?

Thanks for the info!

It is faster than my Recon and I've clocked it at 43 mph. So I figure 45 for the Ozark. It is a great trail quad, small jumps are ok, I've had mine about 3 ft. up and thats about the limit for me but I'm over 200 lbs. too. The 2 strokes will run off and leave you in the open but on the tighter trails you wiil do ok. It usually comes down to riding skill in the woods anyway! It has much better mud protection than sporties, and just wheelie up the fronts over logs and the rears will follow. Plus it has reverse. Got a one gallon or so dry storage under the seat so at least you have drinks on the trail! It is the best quad in its class.

I bought a Sportsman 500 HO and an Ozark 250. We went riding all day today with family and friends and tonight my cousin and I took my 500 out to run next to his 2001 Bayou 220 and the Ozark 250 to see how fast they would go. To our surprise his 220 did 47 and the Ozark did 50 maybe 51. In trail riding all day I would have to say the Ozark has much more power and pep even though the top speed was close.

I have an Ozark 250 that I got for christmas. It is great and pretty fast. You would really like it and I think that you could keep up with Blasters. I race my dad and we are even until I get to about 50. My dad has a vinson 500. I can beat him when hes on it but when someone my size I on it I get beat. I only weigh 100 and my dad weighs 280. His Vinson is a automatic so that makes his slower to. The ozark will go about 53mph. It is a great quad and if you buy it you will love it. It handles great and is a good jumper on small jumps. You can't go wrong with the ozark it is a great quad!

kink why don't you wait for the Z250? Suzuki is supposed to have done some mods to the Ozark motor and placed in the Z250.
