Where can i get my lt250r rear shock rebuilt for cheap?
#2
I think I paid around $150 for the local shop to put new seals, pivot bearings, and to recharge the rear shock on my 500. It works perfect for trail riding. If your gonna really pound it, I think I'd get a performance rebuild. Check the advertisers in Dirtwheels, you're sure to find somethin'.

the important thing to find out is if the shaft is pitted. I thought mine was ok but I found out it was not. If you shaft is pitted it will need to be re-chromed and that can cost about $175 on top of the $125 for someone to look at it plus the parts needed to fix it. At that point it probally better to just do an aftermarket shock.
For you all in California I found a really good place in huntington beach.
