I thought that the chat online with suzuki was pretty cool. I have not been on the board for a very long time, but find myself on it all the time now. Let's just see if what he said is true and we will all be purchasing our new Z400's within the next 2 weeks. I ill believe it when I'm riding it!!!!

Did the Suzuki Rep say how many Z400's are going to each dealer?

 

Thrshr........I don't think there is a transcript of the conversation yet. However, Rex did say that they will post a transcript later. How long who knows. Also, the rep stated a max of 2 weeks for delivery at the dealership. So it could be sooner. He is picking his up this Friday, so he says.

Quadsportrider......the rep stated that it all depends on how may the dealer ordered. However, I would assume that they will not get their full allotment all in the beginning. I would say they will get 2-3 each some time in the next 2 weeks, and then receive a few a month until later in the year when they will start receiving larger shipments.

 

I asked questions on how many to each dealership depending on small, med, or large delaerships. The answer was "It depends" Duh! I was looking at a rough number like 1-3 for the average dealers and 3-5 for a large dealer or something other then. It depends.

 

well i hope it's this week. i'll once again bug all the dealerships around me tommorrow. since i am paying cash, i better be number one on their list.

Regarding quantities per dealer, my dealer (and at least one other in this area) is supposed to get 9 units. They were originally set for April, with none in May and then 6 in June, etc. But as we now know, this first shipment is about two weeks late.

The future is four strokes. No I don't have the hp number avaliable is what Suzuki said.

 

Oh what the hell the future is 4 strokes,geez how many more rights are we gonna lose.I dont care what any 1 says there will always be 2 smokes.People got money and as long as some of us have money ,we can have anything built we want.MOney buys anything.
