LT80, Zorgman- I know that porting is the way to go! I can not do the remove/install myself I have no confidence in the shops around here. It turned out to be a nightmare, getting the 686 up and running. I like the Trinity pipe. I wish i could do both, but my son will be to big shortly. The pipe will give him the top-end he needs in the sand after i gear it down. I need to get the clutch weights done this week.

Update- ordered a sidewinder 25 tooth for the rear. Has to be made. Will arrive on my door step Friday morning along with a new chain. It was $$$$.

Can i remove the clutch weights myself? I can not find a manual.

14,

yes you can do the weights yourself. I ordered a Manual for my kids LT80 from Malcolm smith motorsports a long time ago. I'd assume any Suzuki selling place should be able to order you one. I've rebuilt the crank and tranny in this LT80 as well as played with the weights in the clutch. Its all a piece of cake. I'm no mechanic thats for sure, but the LT80 has to be one of the easier quads to work on. Good luck.

Wshrdskin- I got it done!

LT80- thank you for the detailed private message, on how to remove the weights! I removed 2, i can coax it into a wheely with my 190 butt on it! That is what i needed for the sand. I believe that i wasted my money on the chain and sprocket It should be here friday. I doubt that i will install it.

Last 2 questions,
It runs great now, should i install the jet, trinity sent with the pipe?
Should i open up the air box a bit? If so, how?

P.S. LT- If your port work is better than my combo, it must fly!!! Do you have to velcro the kids behinds to the seat! Thanks again!

Velcro HAHAHAHA,glad it's running good! You need NO air box mods.As far as the jet, possibly, pull the plug and see what color it is,brown=good, black=too rich, white=too lean, their pretty rich stock.Have fun

robo-It gets out of the hole pronto! It is the best mod that i have done so far. LT sent me a detailed pm yesterday. I printed it, keep it beside me in the garage. Took about a hour. If you have a fax, pm me and i will send it to you. Maybe lt80 can pm that same one to you, that he sent me.

Hey Bansheeboy, thought I'd let you know I'll be in your neighborhood this weekend.14Mins place of course! The crf 450r is finally coming together,Lonestar parts/boxes everywhere.Chassis is expected by this weekend {fingers crossed}.I'll bring the z400 for now,it handles much better than any of my stock Raptors. Bring your extra honda beadlocks and wheels, maybe we can do some trading for yamaha paddles.

Rod- bring the valve stem lights!! Rex can not ride the Z400. He cannot control his wheelies on the LT80. Harrison is mad at him.
