Live on the west coast of Australia and today picked up my new Z400 ,i had a chance to ride it for 2 hours after i picked it up. WOW, this is a very good machine the motor is so smooth it feels like it is electric. For a stock machine it really gets up revs straight from bottem end, because i could only use half revs(break in)i was reving it to half revs and short shifting, it really picks up speed quick.This bike with a exhaust and jetting kit will be somthing, i also noticed it has a very very light clutch action, this is good for all day rides ,and the shifting is butter smooth so much that at times i could not tell if the change i just made was ok until i let the cluch out.This bike is very impressive and will give the other bikes a run for their money, it is much faster than a EX400 but not sure about the raptor because i have never ridden one.
