Which one is better Quadzilla or the LT250R. I have heard that the Quadzilla is a little less reliable and the LT250R is slower. It seems that the LT250R is a smaller version of the Quadzilla. So if I want more power go with Quadzilla? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

I had both and loved both. Nothing and I mean nothing touched me on either of them. I had a Honda 250R & a Tecate 4 too. I wish I had all four now.

I liked the Lt 250 best because of the size and weight. But, I only weighed A BUCK O' FIVE back then. The Lt 500 is faster in some conditions and depending on the rider. I also liked the 6-speed box on the 250 better. 6th is 4 long straight dirt roads!!!! As for reliability, I never had a breakdown on either (only a fouled plug in tight woods=my fault) but like a dummy, I didn't keep one long back then either. Think about what fits your body, the places you ride and makyour decision from that.

THE LT 500 IS A ROCKET/BANSHEE...THE LT 250R IS A BANSHEE/HONDA 250R

That is the best way I know how to describe my old quads. I hope you know what I mean and this helps...Good luck finding either!

EVERYONE RAVES 250R & THEY ARE GOOD, BUT MY OL' LT WAS BETTER. A GOOD 250R IS HARD TO FIND & MOST ARE RAGGED OUT OLD RACERS.

I can't say anything about the 500 but I have a 250. All I can say is that I was never unhappy with the performance the bike has given me, it is very fast. I have some mods done to it though, pipe, bigger carb, ported, head, reeds, and sprockets. I want to change some suspension parts, but the suspension isn't bad. As far as reliability, mine ranks at the bottom. I can't say it is the machines fault though. The guy I bought it off of ragged the hell out of it, and did no maintainance at all. Needless to say, I had it for a week, and ha to redo the top end, week later, it threw the rod into the cases, splitting them, me being new to 2 strokes at the time, decided hell, the only thing I need to worry about is getting water into the crank, because of the motor mount bolt just underneath. Well, it ran lean again and seized to piston. My fault! It sat for four years, and I just now put it back together, all new bearings, crank, rod, you name it. It will stay together this time, I'll make sure of it. It is a nice bike, you can't go wrong with it. BTW, a friend of mine has a 86 Honda 250R, and his feels slower than mine, same general mods to both machines too. Later
