My brother is picking up his Z400 tomorrow morning.

Where at do you ride at Lake Arrowhead? I just moved with my brother to Holt and we ride all the time at DeepWater and Columbia but would like somewhere a little closer.

 

Yeah we go to st joe down by farmington, and columbia. really cool places to ride i guess. we're planning to go to land between the lakes in kentucky sometime this spring or summer.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

We own property there and ride all around the lake. We are going there this weekend to cut grass and cut wood for Memorial Day weekend. Where in Holt are you at? Towards town or the lake?

 

Sorry to get back so late. We live off highway CC just about 2 miles SouthWest of Holt. My brother and I took our quads out to some land one of his friend's owns Saturday and Sunday morning and it was pretty much a nice wooded track. A perfect place to break the Z400 in. I could keep up with him in the tight wooded sections but when you transitioned to a straight away or a place in the woods that had a nice long stretch in it, he pulled away pretty quick. He finally let me ride it and I noticed that it rode pretty much like my 400ex but it had a lot of pick-up speed off of the turns which is real good when woods racing. He also just had the stock suspension on. He plans to put some TCS shocks on the front and that should help him out quite a bit and the woods. The looks of the quad are sweet. It looks like someone put a 400ex and a raptor and threw them both in a box and shook it up and this is what came out. They did their homework on this. After about 8 hours of that his z400 is broke in now [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I also just wanted to say how the z400 hardly vibrated at all at anytime during riding it. It is definitely less vibrating than my 400ex.
