All the Honda, Yamaha, Bombardier and Connondale lovers will surely get a kick out of this. I had to phone my dealer today about some gear that I had ordered. He asked me how I was liking the new Z and of course I told him it was incredible. He asked if I was sitting or standing. I told him I was standing, He told me to sit down. Suzuki sent out a recall on your quad, you will have to bring it in, there is a huge safety issue with this recall. I asked him if it was the axle or the transmission... haha. He said it was worse than that. It seems that they did not put the French/ English tire pressue warning sticker in with the first batch shipped. My dealer is a good friend of mine, so I am sure that he was just trying to get me back for the 67 calls I made to him about the Z, waitting for it to finally show up. From an '01 Raptor owner, I see this as a positive sign.....if something needs recalled, then Suzuki is'nt worried about getting the Z's back too the shop and updated. Maybe a different mentality than Yamaha........

I was reading your post and I got a sinking feeling in my gut, then I got to the bottom and I felt way better. Today my dealer is delivering my Z400 and I'm going to meet him to pick it up. I was thinking that I wouldn't get my quad today or for the weekend !!! I'm relieved now. Good joke though. Even if its not a joke, its a joke of a recall.

Bbertram the recall is legit, I just wanted to post it because we will soon be overwhelmed with bashig from riders who do not ride Suzukis. Congrats on finally getting your quad, I think that you will be most satisfied.

Your serious !! If they pull every Z400 back because they forgot a warning sticker then that will be funny. Maybe instead of taking them back to the dealerships for the recall they could offer an option where we would sign our soul away so we can't sue them. I know I don't want to take my Z400 back to the dealership for this stupid recall. Oh well.

I noticed on your signature you have carbon fiber patches instead of those warning stickers, do you have any pictures of your quad with them on? I would like to see how it looks with them on, along with all your other stuff.

Speaking of stickers. WHY in the H@LL do most Manufactures feel it neccesary to RUIN their plastic by molding a indention for the stickers! I know its trivial, But that was also a factor when I chose to buy my DS650. Just my .02
