as long as it got there realy fast. You nbever touch top end iun drag racing. Acceleration is what you need

 

I didn't realize everyone in here only did drag racing. I thought I rode in the desert but maybe that was in my previous life.

 

Yea that is the only place top speed is touched in wide open desert. You dont go close on trails track. So it is not only Drag racing that we do little guido

guess you are not gonna get an answer, man these suzuki guys are helpful, might have to wait for dirtwheels to fudge up some numbers downhill with the wind at there back, or uphill pulling a car...depending on the dollar amount.

Someone buy me a radar gun and I'll get whatever reading you want.

 

I tested mine with a GPS strapped to it today and I got it up to 68 mph.I weigh about 210lbs so I may have been able to squeeze a little more out of it if I lost some pounds.

 

According to this months DirtWheels mag, "on a lnger stretch of dirt road we masured top speed and got 71 mph for the Raptor versus 66 mph for the Z-400".

Anyone else read this article? Hands down the Z is the winner of their shoutout with the Raptor. "The Suzuki Z-400 Quadsport is the new measuring stick that other ATV manufactures will have to rise to" quote un-quote. No surprise here!!!
