I rode a new z400 today.No bottom end at all I have a 2002 stock raptor and I beat it every time boy did I **** that guy off. so I let him ride my raptor he could'nt belive how much more bottom end mine had.I dont want to start trouble but my raptor does have a bigger motor I told him to race some other 400ex's to see what he could do.

Man why the hell would you say that? We just raced whats wrong with racing like that guy expected to win anyway if I wanted to go slow I would of bought a 4wd drive or something well I guess a z400 now.

 

SHUT UP.......you think that cuz you payed at least another grand more and that you have a motor that is 260cc more displacement that you were gonna get beat? why the heck are you even bragging about drag racing anyway? that does not mean anything. get on a track and see the difference. of course displacement doesn;t mean everything. but it helps out a lot to make a lot more HP. why dont you race a z with a yosh pipe or wait maybe you should go race a tractor so that you will feel good.....dont tell me that the z is slow.

Look at it this way O-great one, which would be easiest (vehicle-wise) to get 400hp out of? A '68 350 small-block, or a '99 honda v-tec 2.5 (or similar, you get the idea)? Suzuki took a 400cc engine and made it damn near equal to a 660cc powerplant, wheres the technology at ???

 

You're obviously jealous as hell and have never been anywhere near a Z400.

Why don't you go see a shrink to get rid of your issues?

 

I have a question. Why does every Raptor owner feel it nescessary to come to the Suzuki chat room and dog the Z400? Who gives a rats a$$ if the Raptor will beat the Z in a drag race. OOOHHOOHHH!! Big deal. As if we did not know that a bike with ~64% displacement would beat the Z. Any logical person would know that based upon Zuki's decision to go with a 400, they were targetting the 400ex market. Which I may say has proven successful. Why are all the Raptor owners so worried. I say worry, because that is all that I have seen on this site since I started posting here. A group of new Z owners (or future owners) and then the group of Raptor owners who feel it nescessary to come to this forum and just badmouth the Z. Why don't all you Raptor owners who are so worried about the Z just STAY IN THE YAMAHA FORUM!!!!!!!!!! If you want totalk about the machines in a productive way, join in.

Props to all the owners of other quads who don't dog the Z just because it is competition for the bike they may own. That shows a true love for the sport, intelligence, and maturity. Frankly I'm tired of the MINE IS BETTER THAN YOUR IS CRAP.

P.S. Any one notice how anyone who dogs the Z always has the phrase "Not to start anything" in their post

why do you guys get so mad at people like to race why did the z400 guy even race him if he knew he was going to get beat.I would like to know the results on the Yamaha fourm if a z400 would beat a raptor which I have never seen and never will until the put really something special in the motor. Then you get pepole like (binfordw)to call blackwater a stupid f*ck man are you worried or have a complex problem when you could of spent alittle more money and got something faster? give it a break and just ride your quad even though you will be behind a Raptor.Call me a bad name now because someday a RAPTOR is going to pull up and want to race then you will see I bet you never raced a raptor yet.
