They are a pretty good race, but I still took him. After I got him out of the hole he kinda hung in the mid section through third and fourth, then I started pulling away again. In this case, the Z definately had a lot higher top end speed than the FMF pipped 400EX.
I didn't totally wind out the new Z since it's well, new. Probably shifted 1000 revs or more below the 8000 RPM redline on each shift.

He was a really cool guy and we're going to ride again next weekend. I think I'll bring out my pipped and HPD lidded Scrambler to see how it does. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Fun fun fun.

 

I raced a 440 yesterday- We were running in sand/gravel though, so not a great measure in my eyes- But anyway I got beat on the bottom-as i pretty much suck as a racer[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]- but was able to pull him after i got thru second gear! I also raced my buddies '01 Stock Banshee- we both took off at the same level of suckiness[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img], and stayed even to the end(around 300ft or so) . All in all I was impressed-its plenty fast for me!
