Im planning on buying a Z400 and was wondering if anyone has had any problems with their z400s yet. Many people are telling me it will have problems since its a first year. So any problems?

we all know it's a proven motor since it came out of the tried and true DRZ line of bikes. i've heard someone, i forgot who, in this forum that he bent his axle. i also read this on a website. read the last part. i've ridden mine quite hard on the suspension and the axles have hold up pretty good. so far (knock on wood) i haven't had any problems with my quad other than the spring for the brake light comin' off but that's a waaaaaaaaaaay too easy fix. i love my z and if you decide to get yours i know you'll love it too. good luck on whatever decision you make.

The quad is great, the tires are weak. After only 8 hours of riding I have torn a rear tire, doing trails. I need more plys in my tires, 6 should do the trick.
