I posted a message couple weeks ago about the King Quad 300 verse's the Eiger 4x4, I ended up getting the KQ 300 - yes the Eiger will stomped the KQ into the dirt on a fast paced trail rail and on the bumps, But ! KQ 300 can do things the Eiger can not do, well maybe not good (this is no cut down on the Eiger, heck if I was going to be on the trails more than work I would of gotten the Eiger) I have been bitten by the new machine as of late - you know the latest and greatest thing out, to end up with many trips back to the dealer for recalls and service updates, it takes the fun out having a new machine, so I went with a proven over time machine, next machine will be a rocket (but thats in the future, when I don't know) I have a 4x4 now.

Excellent choice for a work quad.....my wife rides a 2000 King and in Super-Low it will pull just as hard as any 500 out there.... The only thing Suzi has changed in 15 years is the plastic and some cosmetics...proven machine and a great choice...enjoy the quad!!

I think for me the Vinson borders on overkill. Last year I found myself thinking I would never use all of the power it has. I ride real rocky trails and don't often get a chance to open it up.

The thing that really makes me like it though is the automatic. I've just traded my 250 Quadrunner in for another Vinson. My girlfriend has been riding mine.

The Vinson has been very reliable, fast and powerful. My only complaints after 318 miles:
1. Sometimes the shifter is a little sticky
2. The screw that holds the waterproof compartment on the right front fender vibrated off
3. The rear disc squeaks, but not as bad as when it was new.

Those aren't very big complaints compared to other forums. My personal opinion is that right now, the Vinson is the best value on the market.

Hope this helps.
