Hey again vooduu!! WOW what a small world we live in the Lake Stevens area too!!! Down on Sunnyside!! LOL Yea we go riding @ trail 5000 and same as you haven't been to Walker Valley or Reiter pit YET!!! I see you got a speedo and it sounds like the same one my husband got for his 400EX it's pretty easy too install and clocked him @ 62mph he got his @ a bicycle shop. Paid $20 but unfortunetly it didn't hold up too well in the rain. Anyway check our website out and maybe we'll all have to get together and go on a RIDE!!!
PS would LOVE to see that new Z !!! Told my husband I wanted one but he said I couldn't have one as fast as his LOL LOL

Walker Valley is pretty cool, except that it gets really rutted up bad. Very tight trails, and it can get pretty muddy after a little bit of rain. I haven't been up there since last summer but I assume that it is the same as it was then.

Is that place by Marysville that you were talking about those trails off the side of I-5? That is private property and I guess they don't let people ride there anymore (if that is the same place that I am thinking about). Not very much room to ride anyways...

yea I've heard Walker Valley is more for bikes cuz of the small trails but also hear it's a blast. Your thinking of 116th off of I-5 but unfortunetly they closed it because people were abandoning stolen cars and all kinds of weird stuff going on. Thats a bummer it was fun to rip around the little track and nice cuz it was real close to home, but thats what happens when nobody has any respect for the land we ride on!!! We go out past Darrington on HWY 20 there is a campground and some really good riding from easy to difficult no too many people and fun fun fun. Also do racing in the winter and spring winter @ Monroe fairgrounds, and spring @ Oakwood Arena down by Roy,WA

Vooduu and Dirtmomma:

Have you ever ridden at Tahuya?? It's over by Belfair (Bremerton). It's worth the drive over there...trust me. When I was in the Navy, I went riding there every weekend that I was in town. I've been thinking about making another trip up there sometime this Summer. There are camping facilities (pretty primative), but there are tons of trails to ride on. It seems like I found a new place to ride every time I went there.

Later,
Chad

Right on!! It seems like I've heard that name Tuhuya but can't remember why??!! Hey if you decide to go there maybe we should all get together and make a weekend out of it we are always up to a good riding/camping trip. Although in July we are booked as we go to Wallace ID to the ATV jamboree which is held July 16-21 and is a blast, now they have some GREAT riding out there, 1000's and 1000's of miles of trails!!! Anyone interested in attending check out http://www.imbris.net/~hmatvi/ It's a fun time and they have a rodeo which is supposed to be bigger and better this year. Cool!!! I went to the jamboree in Wallace 2 summers ago. I was part of the group that helped create what they called the ironman ride last year. A small group (about 7 guys including the guide) took our 4x4 atv's up an old river bed. Did tons of rock crawling, and stream crossings. A very challenging ride. No winches were used, but we were all glad that we had full skidplates, and extra people to keep us from rolling down some cliffs where the trail had washed out. That ride definitely kept me on my toes. They asked me to come back and guide last year, but couldn't because like this Summer, I'm in school working on my Master's degree (structural engineering). Have a great time!!!

Right on!! 2 yrs ago was our 1st time there, we were on our way back from S.D. and just happened upon it and had our quads of course (don't leave home w/o them)so we got lucky and got a spot @ Down by the Depot RV park and had a awesome time and vowed we'd make that our family vacation every year!!! I remember hearing about the ironman run, last year on the mad man run I think it was, a couple we had met were on that and some of them went off a 275' cliff!!!!! She and another guy on a Raptor had to be airlifted out and stayed overnight in the hospital but she was just bruised up. There were about 4 that went over that day, pretty scary! Anyway thats a bummer ya gotta go to school but hey I'm sure it's all for the better. Have a good one!!

Bbertram-- Don't worry about bending your axle. There not as weak as you have probably heard. I've totally abused my Z400 on my MX track with 50+ ft. doubles and 15+ ft. of air and this quad still feels like new. Go ahead and do the doubles, it flies great!!

I already have a slight bend in mine I THINK? The back right tire has a slight wobble to it so, its the axle or the rim.
