I rolled my Z!!!

Yeah, it was sweet. I was taking this hill climb, not real big, but not real small either. Lots of soft dirt and sand, but who knew, (since I was the first to hit this spot) that at the top it went straight up and down. Made it to the top, dug in, and then bailed. I scurried down the hill with my quad chasing me. She rolled a few times landing the rear tire on my leg. Nothing hurt on me or the bike. Got up, gave two thumbs up to my friends who then began cheering and rode a wheelie over to them to check for damage. We had such sweet day. Pretty sore today, totally worth it. I love my Z more every day. Oh yeah, jumped the he!! out of it yesterday with no axle problems. I even landed weird a few times. I love this machine.

Today I tipped my Z over on its side, the guy told me it was like slow motion it went over so slowly. I was backing down a hill on an angle and I went in a wash out and stopped. Next thing I know the quad is coming over. I just put my foot out and braced the Z from falling to hard on the soft sand. Nothing happened to me or the bike. I also have been jumping my Z more and more today. The dirt bikes have a table top and I love hitting that, its just a tad mudding at the bottom still. They also have this double set up and I'm scared to hit it because my axle might break and I'll have no quad to ride at all.

Gotta tell you guys, I went to the local Zuki dealer yesterday and they had a Z sitting on the showroom floor. These things look even better in person. They look really trick, like they are full of performance. I always thought the 400ex and raptor were the best looking quads but this is right up there. It looks tricker than my ex. I hope to ride one someday.

Looks like yahoo is having some problems at the moment. I'll give them some time to fix before I complain. I don't have any actions shots up yet but today I got some jumping pictures taken on my friends non digital camera so it will take some time to get them. I had a blast today, lots of dirt bikes and trikes out today. The trike rolled it on a big hill, it stalled on him at the top. He didn't get hurt but it was cool. I would like to get some video sometime. The trike is a 250R liquid cooled 2 stroke, its pretty fast but it sucks on the hills it seems, he needs to take a good run at them to make it up while I can start from a crawl at the bottom and still do better than him. Its fun to watch though because he is crazy and will try almost anything.

When I rolled it, I was at the Pipeline up in Monroe. That place is pretty sweet. Not too many people know where it's at cause it's out there a ways. There's also Walker Valley, I haven't been there yet, but it's supposed to be quite big with lots of terrain. My buddy knows of a place up firetrail (Marysville) that we are supposed to hit in two weeks. I've also heard Reiter (sp.?) Pits is supposed to rock, yet another trip. I have also done some riding up the 5000 Road in Granite Falls. I myself live in Lake Stevens, so I'm not too far off you guys. Where do you all ride? I just picked up one of those digital speedos like the ones at trail tech. Now I'm just waiting for them to come out with the lighting plus speedo combo for my bike.

It's a speedo that works on a magnet set-up. I'm not sure on the install yet, but I know it's been done on lots of quads. I am just waiting for them to come out with the light/speedo assmembly for my Z. In this months issue of Dirt Wheels, there's a chicks 400ex in there with one installed, actually, she has the kit I want for my bike, with the lights on it too. Don't buy your speedo out of the mag or online as you'll pay 70 bucks and you can get the exact same one at Wal-Mart for 30 bucks.
