There was about 3 Z400's in the stock class.....a total of about 20 machines. On the start it was Z400, Honda, and Z400.....1-2and 3. Anyone douting the power of the Z now? I was the Z in 3rd.

Then on the end of lap 1, I had Proboly the worst crash I have ever had. I was running really good, better than ever....2nd place. Then I made a stupid mistake....

Coming out of the woods into a grass field (left turn) I thought it would slide and it caught dry ground....it started to flip sideways then...once it was totally sideways to the right...it fliped front to back (while still totally sideways). Ouch. Didnt get hurt tho, not even bruised.

The tie rods are WEAK. Thats the only thing I broke, they are made of hollow aluminum.

Good news tho, no one passed me. Thats odd for me, usually im not the fastest guy, later I heard that the 2nd place guy said "This guy on a suzuki passed me and I couldnt catch him....then he fliped and I got by".

Theres always the next race -). Im VERY HAPPY with my Z....it seemed like an unfair advantage over the honda's.

glad your okay? other than the tie rods is the quad okay? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] did you make it back to the finish or was the tie rod just totally screwed?

 

Is it ok? YES!!! I actually beleave I would have won the class....the Z400 seemed like an unfair advantage! Normally I have to let a few faster guys by, but not with this machine....i was DOING AUSSOME!!! I wasnt even getting tired (and normally I get real tired on the GNCC's). I cant wait till the next one!
