It is unstoppable on the hills, but I dont know about 100% faster than a 250ex. It might be a bit faster but not a lot (stock) I never raced a 250ex but mine wouldnt touch a 300ex.

I have a 1986 lt230s that I bought for $400 off ebay. I figured it was a pretty good deal because it came bored .040 with a cobra pipe. Well right now its at an atv shop it wont start unless I pull it behind a truck, smokes like he!!, bogs down then dies. Guess it has something to do with the jets or valves but I'm no mechanic so I'm not trying anything myself.
Reading what you all are saying it sounds like an awesome quad at least for its age. My dad had one when they first came out and said it would climb whatever you aim it at
Hopefully I'll be able try it out before too long.

the '88 Q-Sport that I used to have would also climb hills that would give a mountain goat nightmares. It was a fun little machine. It took a beating and kept coming back for more. The craziest thing I have ever done with it was jumping it off the tops of hills in a local gravel pit, landing 75 feet later. What a blast.

wow! sounds like a rush I cant wait to get the thing from the shop so I can try some crazy stuff for myself. The guy at the shop says he'll get back to me by the weekend, I cant wait that long Theres a thin layer of snow on the ground and it would be so perfect for sliding and donuts. dang-it

i've been looking for a decent pic of a new Quadsport too. unless you find an old sales brochure, the best pic i've seen is on the cover of the Clymer manual.

quadsportin,

I also used to take this machine to the top of the hills and stop, put it in neutral, and take the free ride backwards to the bottom as fast as it would go.

The crazy things we do as kids, but that was 14 years ago.
