I don't know about Z shocks but on my quads, the tool comes with the toolkit. It's shaped like a question mark and has tabs sticking out of the inside of the half circle that fit in the grooves of the shock adjustment.

Yeah i have the same tool and i adjusted the front shocks, but in the manual it says that you have to go to the dealer to adjust the rear shock because it needs a special tool.? i was wondering what tool is used so i can see if i can buy it.

Yeah the special tool is a long flathead screwdriver and a hamer. You have to put the flat head in the groove of the top ring first and loosen it up alot. Then you turn the bottom one to adjust the spring. It takes forever to adjust it but worth it.
