I hit some doubles today, well I tried twice. Both times I hit pretty hard but the landing wasn't all weird. So anyways, you can tell something is bent now, before it wasn't as noticeable. I put it on the jack and the axle looks fine, I wonder if its something else. I'll be taking the rim off tonight maybe and put it on flat ground and see how flat it is. Maybe the rim is bent. What else could be bent? Thanks.

well, atleast with the axle being straight is good news. i doubt you damaged the hub. is it just one side wobbling?

Yah, its just one side. I think the axle is straight, its hard to tell if its bent.

did you run the quad in gear while the axle was lifted in the air? (if not, when you do make sure you chock the wheels and have jackstands on the frame) if it looks straight then switch the wheels, if the other side wobbles then you found the culprit.

This is my first sport quad and its fun as hell. I love it. I have only heard of 2 or 3 people on these forums with something bent. Its just my luck that I'm one of those people and I live 10 hours away from my dealership. I might be going all Yamaha next summer because they are only 3 hours away from me. Warranty work is much easier when you live close to the dealership.

I swapped tires and it still wobbles on the right side. Now that I think about it I think I may have screwed up changing tires. I'll have to change them again just to make sure. I noticed the nuts of each wheel are not super tight, they are tight enough to keep the tire on and so that it has no slack but its not as tight as I would like it to be.

If after switching, it still wobbles on one side, maybe you bent only one axle? I have yet to bend anything, and I've been beating the he!! outta mine, so who knows, maybe I'm just lucky.
peace

Yep, something is bent and its not the rim. Its either the axle or the hub. I have asked people and the axle is one solid piece but it looks like it has 2 halves. That is weird. I have never seen an axle with 2 halves before. It sure would make it easy to change if its in 2 halves.
