went to local dealer to get oil filter and they didnt have one listed in the computer
so i suested a filter from a a drz400 16 goddamn dollars(they suck)
have no idea if it fits yet anyoe else with this prob?

 

I haven't ran across any one coming back for an oil filter yet, so i don't know if they are the same as the DRZ or not.

Sorry, but you did help me. I have to check into this and be sure I have some because they will be in for some soon. Thanks for the reminder.

By the way....the DRZ filter lists for under 10 bucks.....you got screwed...BIGTIME!!!

 

I picked one up this week. Part # 16510-29F00, and it was $6.19.

They were somewhat up on it.

You might call Scotts, I just got A reuseable oil filter from them for My Raptor. It has a stainless steel filter with a magnet built in.
I'm sure they'll have one for the Z if the DRZ uses the same filter, If not they'll have one soon.

I use a similar (System 1) filter on my race car & it's 5 years old & still working great!!

 

gump you got screwed on that oil filter that you purchased a cycles 128 if you had a 400 ex the filter would have cost 4.95

 

But he would lose in a race.
