I've heard some people say they've uncorked (removed baffle) from their Z's. I wanna know how to do so, if there needs to be re-jetting, and how much power this will gain me and where the power gains are in the rpm range approximately. Thanks y'all, we love our Z's!!!!
peace

I just looked at mine so I'm owndering too. Looks like it's pressed in there so you gotta drill away and hack it out. Am I wrong?

If it's anything like the dirtbike version silencer, you can drill the end cap out with a 1 3/8 hole saw. Then get a 1/2 drill bit and extention, then you can drill the front and rear baffle plates out in a circular pattern. It does make it louder, but it does improve the low-end a bit.
