Sup atvsaint man you aint kiddin ive seen some banshee's also spank some cars down at rankin road back in the days .Lately have the cops been trying to crack down on yall for racing cause the TV stations here in Houston are stupid for making a big deal out of something that been around for the longest. They make it seem like yall started racing cars because of the movie the Fast and the Furious which is a load crap cause people have always been racing on rankin road and other places in the U.S. for about the longest.

Until I hear someone saying they used a GPS to "clock" their quad I will not believe it. Using your mom's minivan does not cut it, neither does any other vehicle being it a truck, car, quad, motor bike, cop car, etc....GPS OR NOTHING

yup ive seen a couple banshees down on rankin, but this was the BADEST *** QUAD ive EVER seen, in person anyways, i wanna see that crankenstein banshee the weird thing bout it, was it had no suspension at all, where the shocks would normally be, their were bars...

727banshee, where do you ride? do u ride at spring creek behind old town spring? if so have u heard ofpeople getting held up at gun point and having their qads/bikes/trucks stolen from em? a friend told me that, and besides their, the only place i know that allows quads is the highlands mx park, but i dunt even know if they still let them in their......also the track at conroe...does it allow quads?

peace

btw, had to re-register, forgot my password...

I used my GPS to test my Banshee, a Raptor, and now a Z400 all on a regular paved road. I've got a lot of stuff on my Banshee (FMF Fatty Pipes, Cool Head w/20 cc domes, Vito pistons, degree key, K&N Filter) and I got 81.5 MPH. The Raptor had a pipe (Big Gun, I think) and a K&N filter and he got 81.0 MPH. The Z400 was stock and still not broke in yet and got 69.0 MPH, but he said he said it still had a little left before he let off (he didn't want to be too hard on it since it wasn't fully broke in yet). I weigh about 180, the guy on the Raptor about 230 approx., they guy on the Z400 about 200 approx.

I actually rode the Z400 a little and I thought the power felt comparable to a 400EX with a 440 kit/cam. I was impressed.

I got mine up to 68 tonight before I had to skid to a stop, end of the 350-400' asphalt turning into a dirt section with some bumps. I was into 5th, but not even wound out. I wish I had a tach so I could figure out top speed. I revved out the first 4 gears and had to be 1500 rpm below what the others felt like when I shifted 1-4 but had to quit on 5th. I've only got about 10 hours on it so this was my first wide open try. You could smell the newness when I slowed down. That definately means you've gone into new territory with a motor and added to the breakin. Motor guys will know the smell.
