Does anyone have this setup yet? I am wondering if there are supposed to be jet changes if I was going to leave the lid on? I may get rid of the snorkel, but I kind of like having some sort of box there to keep some crap out of there. I will be running an outerwear for it too. Are alba's prices good compared to others, or are they the only ones out there for this bike yet? Thanks

 

I bought the Alba setup, they are the only ones I know that have the K&N for the Z400. I added that and a pipe and put a 152.5 jet in. I do not know what jet for the K&N only. Some bike you have to rejet some you do not. I was told you have to on the Z400 but not for sure what size. There is another post on this forum about this.

 

You do need to rejet to pull the snorkle. I tired it for a moment with no snorkle and the stock jet. It ran like crap.
This weekend I ran the 152.5 with no lid, no snorkle and the K&N. It was rich but had more power than stock up top.

Tonight I just added the HMF to lean it back out and get my power down low back. Should be cool.
