Hi. I was having a problem with my zilla that I thought it was a carb problem. I try to clean it and re-jet but it was still feeling like blubber,, it didnt clean very well. the spark plug was very dark, so it was not burning well. I sent it to a atv technician and he says it is the stator that is not sending enough current to burn well. Is that possible??? I dont know if that can be possible.
Thanks...

I had a suzuki quadracer LT250R and went through 2 stators in a year so that is a very good possibility. When mine started going bad, at the first of ever day when i went to start it, it woulld take about 30 kicks, but would take 2 kicks the rest of the day. If these are the symptoms it is problly the stator. Quads need new stators every once in a while, especially quadracers.

I just had the stator rebuilt on my LT250R. Try closing your plug gap to about .020 and see if it runs better. If it does then you probally got a stator on its way out.

I sent my stator to Ricky Stator, they made it better than new and did the work really quick.
