Yup,

I noticed some oil under my bike in the garage, and tracked it to the rear shock.

Boy do I have crappy luck, just last month I blew a tire, and had the oil seal on the output shaft let go

Although thay are not the Z's fault

But the shock is.
I called the dealer, and he said he would look into getting it warrantied for me.

I don't really feel that I beat the tar out of this thing??
I keep it looking new all the time

I ride in some sand pits, and lately quite a bit of trails, and some long whoop sections on the old railraod trestle.
I would think the shock could handle this??
Maybe it was just a BAD shock??

BTW. The Z has only about 10 hours on it, and I weigh 165lbs.

Anyone else have a problem w/ their rear shock yet?????????

Thanx,
LOBE

No problems with the shock but my chain jumped off on me like the second or 3rd ride. Messed up the chain and the swing arm. They are warrantied the chain and today it finally came in from Suzuki, (a month and 1/2 later) so I will be taking it up there today to drop it off and have it replaced. I hope your warranty goes alot quicker than mine.

Guess I am the only one.
My BAD luck I suppose

The dealer said he put the claim in to Suzuki, and since there computers were down it may take 7 days to get an answer/.......

When I brought my quad to TCS for the new shocks, they tore my stock ones apart and told me that after only 3 rides my fluid was wasted in the rear. That sure didn't last long! TCS has their shock bodies anodized to help preserve the shock fluid. They can rebuild your stock shock for $450 and you can have it set for whatever kind of riding you do. This is the right way to go about it.
