Recently purchased an Ozark 250 for my girlfriend.A friend bought one at the same time. After riding @15 hrs they both developed a stalling problem. Mostly on hills and rough terrain. They both had different fuel in them from 2 gas stations. That ruled out bad fuel. Had them back to the dealer. They stated the one had a small tear in the diaphram in carb. The other was just seated wrong. The one that needed the diaphram seemed to run fine at first, but now is exhibiting the same problem again???? Anyone else having problems?? Any ideas what the cause actually is. I will be taking it back to the dealer again next week. Any info will help.

Hey man i feel for ya , but it sounds like the carb is the problem then, if the "seal" is messed up again then it must be. But it's not your falt so demand an explination or check into it with other owners and see if it's a common thing, or a manufaturer problem.

Thanx, I figured it's carb oriented. Just pissed I have to drop it off and wait again for service. I would love to know if it's been a common problem w/ any one else. I'ts nice to have ammo when you fight the battle.

Mine has been perfect. A little cold natured, but no problem at all.

I set up an appointment for next tuesday. That way we can ride this weekend. Dealer stated they have had a bunch of probs w/ water in the fuel due to high humidity in the northeast lately.?? I'm going to drain the fuel tonight and run some from another gas station. We'll see.
Thanx for the input.

bobcatv8 - I sent you a private message.

I have been thinking about buying one of these for my wife as soon as I sell the Magnum. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident.

I bought one back in May for the Wife and it's been trouble free for us. Plus my boys ride it whenever they are out and I'm riding the Z.
