Can the stock exhaust be helped

Can it be helped without sounding loud or bad. I have heard raptors and 400exs without baffles and they sound like crap on Z400. Thanks|

There's some info posted on this thread. Z400 exhaust I've done it to mine and I think it sounds good.

Thanks 250EXcited. Are you guys just working on the end cap.Are you doing anything to the muffler itself.

I just removed the peashooter from the endcap. Nothing else. If you look inside, you could increase the size of the next air passage. I think the endcap mod lets enough air flow and sounds good too.
