Hey,

trying to get this clear in my head. i've been reading the archives and i see people refer to these different models. so if any of you Suzuki guys could explain the years and model differences of these, that would be great.

thanks,
bigmac

I will gladly explain. The Quadsports are 230 and 250 CC's that ran from years 1985-1988(230) and the 250's went from 1989-1990. Oh yeah, ther is the new 2003 Quadsport Z-400. (all 4-strokes by the way) The Quadracers were 2-stroke 250's and 500's. The 250s went from 1985-1992 and the 500 a.k.a. Quadzilla went from 1987-1990. I am not too sure about the Quadrunners as they made many CC's and many different 2 and 4 wheel drive models, and all were 4-stroke. Hope this helps.

Hey,

thanks, that's great info. i'm going to have to write that down and keep it somewhere for future reference!

any ideas what a '92 Quad Runner 250 would be? sport or utility? fast or slow?

thanks again,
bigmac

It would be a utility, that much I do know about most Quadrunners. It is more slow than fast.

Hey,

thanks. bummer that it's a utility. and here's an even bigger bummer. i called just a little too late on an '87 Lt250r $800. i gotta start picking up the local bargain trader the day it comes out. cause if there's a good deal in there, it's gone in a few days.

later,
bigmac

Quadrunner 230E was a quadsport with an auto clutch, electric start and a rear rack. Same styling as the quadsport. I wish they still made it today. They are really hard to find. That is the quad I have been looking for the wife. Maybe Suzuki will release something similar in the next couple years.
