I recently bought a 'zilla and it doesn't want to idle. I cleaned the carb out but that didn't help. It runs fine otherwise. Could worn out reeds cause this? I'm lost, please help.

Take a hose a listen for air leaks around the cylinder and boot between carb and cylinder. A leak will cause a rough or no idle.

You want to check and make sure your float level in the carb is not too low. The slow jett is quite a bit higher than the main jett and if it doesn't reach the surface of the gaz it won't idle.
