Has anyone ever readjusted there ignition timing on there zilla? I like to experiment with stuff but am unsure as to how much I should give it! Can any one help me?

 

I have played with the ignition timing a little.
The big bore doesn't really respond well to very much advance, unless you're really running some radical porting, etc. (Must be careful with pre-ignition/detonation)

I actually retard mine just a little to help it rev.

 

alter timing? how do ye do that on an efi?

 

The post is 18 years old, don't think any Quads were EFI then, certainly not the 1980s two stroke Suzuki 500
