Last week I got my carb back from being converted to alcohol and can't seem to get the thing smoothed out. It runs great at idle and revs quick but when Im racing (sand drag) at about the 60 foot mark, it starts cutting out and just falls on it's face. At first I thought it was way lean but the plug looked good. It feels like it is running out of fuel when the powerband hits. I have tried many combinations of main jets (alcohol) needles, pilot jets, and even tried several different power jets. I'm satisfied that it is not a jetting problem but I am stumped. Can someone please give me some needed advise.

Thanks in advance,
