Wow, thanks to everyone who has posted so far. This is great info for me to make my decision. And I am going to......GO WITH THE ZILLA! I want the experience of the awesome torque and low end power, and also the arm-wrenching top speed. I want the Zilla because I want to be able to climb ANY hill that I want to and even some that I don't. I also want to be able to beat my friends in drag races, and hopefully I can get good enough on it to keep beating them on the "motocross" tracks we have at our somewhat local park in Iowa. It's Bluff Creek OHV park near the town of Bussey. Thank you everyone or answering my questions.

Hey Benedark:
I have a Zilla that I am selling. If you are interested give me a shout vjschwoerer@ckhnet.com I live in Wisconsin so it isn't too far away. Anyhow it is a '90 zilla that is mostly stock. I don't ride it much since I got my new Z.

<< My Quadzilla is not hard to start. Pull the choke when cold, with a few slow kicks and boom it come to life with 1 - 2 kicks. But becareful,,,,, WEAR riding boots because it will bite back sometime and break you foot! >>

Damn right! My buddy bought a mint quadzilla last summer and he got bit quite a few times. Very intimidating bike. He was eating up pistons like candy though, lots of cold seizures. Gotta give those babies at least 10-15 minutes to warm up.

What's he running for a pre-mix, I go at least serveral years before rebuilding. I run Klotz at 50:1 and have never had a cold seizure. I just let it idle until the exhaust starts to get warm.

I think he's runnin bel ray 40:1 or 32:1, something on that line. He cooks pistons every month, he's a very good mechanic but he's just havin cold seizures. He doesnt have the problem when he lets it sit for about 15-20 minutes, so he's stickin with that. Have two smokes, and ride.
