I have the same rotor problem. The only other problems I have are the tranny is lacking a 6th gear, and the top of the headlight reflects back on you at night. Other than that, A+ quad

I've had mine since May and I've had no problems either other than not enough time for riding. Even though I ride just about every evening after work in the National forest.LOL It's a great machine and you will never get tired of riding it.

I have had no problems with mine with the exception of the rear rotor warping and squeaking, but you can fix that by replacing it with a vented 400ex rotor. That is what I did to fix mine.

Absolutely NONE! I just picked mine up tonight from the dealership. I had the first service and check up done. I've got about 20 hours on the Z so far. The check up was an A+, nothing wrong. And NO BELT AXLE!!! My wallet is short about $65 bucks now, but that's it. Gotta go ride somemore, having withdrawels....... Zero problems. Fantastic quad! All first year quads will have some teething problems. So far it appears that the Z-400 has few. Sports quads are ridden pretty hard so any bad design flaws will be uncovered pretty quickly. So being out 3 or so months {summer heavy riding months} most of the Zs problems would have already been exposed. More time will tell for sure, but so far, so good for me!

The only thing I have noticed is the plastic on the right side below the tank next to your knee keeps poping out of its little plastic tabs, kind of annoying but no big deal. The only other problem is that the intake and exhaust is way to restrictive and should be opened up Great quad.

So far I've seen firsthand two bent axles, a few rotors warping, one fan not coming on, someone bending their frame from hitting a rock(wonder who's fault that is), a lot of folks complaining about their noisy tranny, and a lot of pissed off people with axles not lining up right.

Few bugs, like most any other new quad. Keep your quad clean and maintained, should be ok, if not thats why there's a warranty.
