Well I bought mine about a month ago, rode a little at the Little Sahara sand dunes, did great. I just rode it last weekend from Lake Point Ut, to Wendover, NV. About 120 miles one way, bike did awesome, it railed through all the tight trails great and on the Salt flats nothing but the Raptors and DS's passed me. also those same Raptors had to replace rear brakes from rubbing and the DS's had to replace axle bearings. So I feel the Z was a winner for not having any mechanical problems. WAY TO GO SUZUKI!!!

A friend of mine endoed over a step up jump Wednesday and broke his
leg and fliped the Z.The only thing wrong was the handle bars bent.
Not bad for a pretty hard crash.

The only problem Ive had is a bent tie-rod. I hammerred it back to straight, and its been fine ever since. No other problems at all.

I have transmission problems. Sometimes it doesn't want to shift from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. I'm taking it back to the dealership tomorrow to have them check it out. Then I'm going to install a CT racing pipe.

My girl and I have had our two since day one. Problems, the spring for the brake light came off, bent it, now fixed. Axle looked like it had a wobble, it's gone now too, it fixed itself, sweet. What else, bent handle bars, of course that was rider error, oops, over the top they go. Other than that, nothin. They are rock solid and will treat you good, all they ask is to be ridden hard, and put away wet.
