The engine in my Zilla has a crack in the left case right below the stator cover, so I am in need of a new case, Id take a complete engine if it was in good working order. Anyone have any thoughts?

 

If I were you I would just purchase a new matching set from Suzuki. It is going to be cheaper than a used motor and Suzuki fixed the problems with the main bearing bosses on these so you won't have to worry about that.

When you say that they fixed the problem, is that to say that I will not need to have the brass inserts installed? What is the cheapest you have seen the cases for and where/
