Skidplate Rattling

Is anybody having a problem with skidplates rattling? I have found a solution. Let me know if anybody has a problem

well i took some silacone around the bottom of the frame then bolted the skid back while it was drying. gives it a cushin from the vibation. some people use insolation tape or some thing similar.

i got me a set of pro armor skids. didn't have to do any insulating. works great [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I have full ProArmor, no vibs at all.

I have the Pro Armor belly plate and it made a vibration noise. I cut up an old bike tire tube and glued it to the frame. No vibration since.

Yes, when we install the Pro Armor skids we always install some type of rubber insulator, just to make sure the skids don't rattle [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I usually use 3" pieces of a serpentine belt automotive belt; it has 6 ribs in it so it grabs the frame well [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
