The Kawi show is next week, much anticipation about a big bore sport quad based on the V-twin Prarie. Honda let the quad world down big time with nothing but an auto Rancher with GPS.
.....Suzuki says new models, maybe just two, but what? A big bore utility, maybe borrowed from Kawi, and a 250 sport based on the Ozark would be obvious, but, are there going to be any real surprises? Let's hope so!

i think itd be a good idea on their part to make a ozark type sport quad. Sine the ozark has the most power out of the mini ute quads it shouldt be to bad of a machine with some dicent suspension and a good frame. this would be a good marketing machine.

I think Suzuki will follow Honda's example with the Recon/250EX machines. Not that that is a bad thing for a LT-Z250, since the Ozark engine is based off the LT230-type machines. I just hope that they at least use a different chassis and suspension set-up. Manual with autoshift? Probably. Better performing than a 250EX? You know that's what Suzuki would be aiming for!

I would think that Suzuki is more likely to introduce a big-bore sport-ute than a big-bore sport quad. It would be nice to have an open class offering from Suzuki, but all the rumors of an 800cc air-cooled mill leave a little bit to be desired. This is the 21st century- sport riders don't want engines from the 70s anymore! The only engine that I can think of (off the top of my head) that Suzuki has in its stable that may work in a quad is the 650 V-twin out of the SV650 sport bike. A little heavy but really torquey. I dunno, I'm still leaning towards a ute quad here. Who knows? Maybe we'll see a redesigned LT80!!!

Well,,errrr,,ok,,ya have me over a barrel here!!! I have it from a very reliable source that the new Suzuki sport quad is going to be a LT-85!! It will have NOS and something else new to the mini's,,A SUSPENTION!!! Rumored to have a whopping 5" of travel front and rear this maxi-mini is sure to turn your eye as some 5 year old with no helmet streaks by you at 70 mph.
