400ex carb in Z400

I thought I remember someone saying that the 400ex carb would work in the Z400 and there are some power gains from it as well. Is this true? If it is, I may think about getting one from ebay.

Yep its true, I think the low end power is where the Z would gain mostly from a 400ex carb.
