My friend bought his z400 with the accesory kit on it, came with a Yosh slip-on, but they did not rejet. what are the reccomeded jet for it?? It has the stock filter set up completly installed still, any tips for him???? we are gonna get him a better filter and rejet soon so a start would be nice. I can't believe they put a pipe on it and did not rejet it, said they can't touch jetting at all....Thanks

Hey, share with the rest of the class.

My stock main jet was a 130.

When I drilled out the pea shooter on my exhaust, it lost upper end power due to running WAY lean. I went up to a 145, which was way rich until I removed the noise baffle and got a unifilter.

The moral of the story is that a 145 is going to be too rich without some extra mods, but a 130 is going to kill your top end.

Does dynajet make a kit for the z400? sure makes it alot easier to get right.

I just installed a WB E-series and the directions said that no jetting was necessary. We'll see tomorrow when I take it out for a flogging

JSsDS,
How do you like your WB E-series pipe?
Did you have to rejet?

I just installed a complete Titanium pro system on our Z400, there was a large increase with over-all power! The directions recommend installing a 152.5 main-jet.
