Clutch problems on 230
#1
Hey guys thanks for all the responses on the Quadsport.I just went and bought mine the other day.I have a few questions.
1.If I put the quad in gear and pull the clutch in it's still realy hard to push? This can't be right?
2.Does it have a parking brake? If so wheres it at?
3.What tires work best with it?

Are you talking about the clutch is hard to pull or are you talking about it is hard to push when it is in gear and your trying to push it with the clutch. If it is hard to push when it is in gear i don't know what that could be. Does it make noises when your are trying to start or does it feel like it is slipping and does not have the power its supposed to.
The parking brake is located on the caliber. their is a button on your clucth purch. it sticks up you have to push it down and pull in the clutch. it has a little pin that it should have you can see it if you pull the rubber guard thing back.if it does not have that like mine then it won't work they would do no good to you anyways.
get the tires that it arent big and not too small your best bet is a 22" i would recomend not getting a tire that is not too agrresvie but more of a sport tire like bandits, holeshots, etc. me personally i have dirt dogs on the way the tires i have now are bauld i will have to tell how good the dirt dogs go. hope this helps you some

My clutch problems are kinda like this.If i put the bike in gear and pull the clutch in its still hard to push.It doesn't have the zip and zing like it did have ,but it isn't slipping. When i pull it in it still lets the engine rev without moving.Might be a clutch adjustment? How do I?

Well there are 2 places to adjust it on the Quadsport. One is on the right side of the motor by the end of the clutch cable. The other is in the rubber cover over the lever/perch area. Just turn the screw thing and test it. The other one just loosen the bolts and test it. BTW the little nuts there are 12mm. Mine is also hard to push in gear with the clutch in but that is only when it is cold. Before you try anything else thy it when it is warmed up. Hope that I helped.
